Fire Safety First was formed in October 2001 to provide client organisations and businesses with the professional advice necessary to help protect public, staff and property from the risks of fire.

The company provides fire safety advice, fire risk assessments and audits, fire safety training and project reports. The advice it provides is aimed at protecting people and property from fire in a fully compliant and economical manner. The company has an excellent working relationship with the Health and Safety Departments, local Fire Brigades and Building Control Authorities.

All consultants employed by Fire Safety First have backgrounds as Senior Fire Officers within the Fire Brigade or hold an MSc Degree in Fire Engineering. All fully meet the criteria recommended by the British Standards Institution PAS 79:2007 Section 7 "Competence of Fire Risk Assessors".

Fire Safety First is ISO 9001:2008 accredited and also holds the Constructionline Certificate of Registration, meeting the pre-qualification requirements appropriate to public and private sector procurement as agreed with the Department of Trade and Industry.
